It seems like Fall 2012 will be an incredible year for anime! We brought you some news earlier that a 3rd season for Darker than Black has been rumored to be set to debut this Fall 2012, but now, we bring you a confirmation that a Steins;Gate movie is set to debut sometime this Fall! Not much is known about the time traveling anime movie, so whether it is a prequel or sequel, we’ll probably know in the coming months.
This one’s been quite hot around the net: apparently, Microsoft has tasked Flextronics, the company responsible for making the XBOX 360, to manufacture the next generation XBOX system. If you remember, however, Microsoft has already stated that they would not be showing off their next generation XBOX system at E3 2012. In either case, it could be quite a while until we hear what this next-gen console will hold.
Marvel and Ubisoft have recently registered the domain AvengersBattleForEarth.com, which could possibly lead to an announcement concerning a game for one summer’s biggest blockbusters! Though movie tie-in games are notoriously bad, could a new Avengers game be at least decent? (Also, as a note, today is both Cinco de Mayo and Free Comic Book Day! Get your free comic books at participating comic book shops, and get your party on for Cinco de Mayo!)
Well, we’ve come a long way, and our 1 year anniversary is a couple weeks away! May 24th, 2011 is when we started up this little blog, and we’ve already grown to have quite a few followers, and we’re still growing by the day!
As mentioned in the last Blog Update, we were considering expanding our coverage to include other forms of media, notable, movies. Music is also a consideration, as I am a heavy supporter of cover artists such as Christina Grimmie, Alex Goot, Kurt Schneider, and all of the growing Youtube cover artists out there. We’ve done a few of these types of posts in the past, but nothing too major and not yet deserving of an official category… until now.
Beginning sometime soon, we’ll have a category exclusively for Movies, and tentatively one for Music. Our coverage of movies will largely stem from trailers and sporadic reviews, and if Music is integrated on the site, we would post the latest covers from the most popular, and probably not-so-popular, cover artists we can find! It’s our attempt at expanding our horizons.
Also, I’ll be gone for most of the first month of Summer, therefore limiting my ability to keep updating the blog, especially during E3 2012 (sadly). I’m in the works of leaving the other two admins on the site, Ender11 and Kuroudo Akabane, to keep this site alive while I’m gone, but help may be enlisted if so needed.

Here’s some pretty good news for all of you Darker than Black fans out there! If the 2nd season of Darker than Black left you wanting more, a 3rd season has been rumored to be in the works, set to air in Japan this Fall! The subtitle, Nanpou no Houkou is loosely translated to “Wandering through the South.” No official confirmation has been made yet, so take this as you will.
So… how awesome would it be to have “papersculpt” versions of The Legends of Zelda: Twilight Princess weapon arsenal? Well, artist Cameron Garland has done just that, as you can see above! It’s also currently up for sale for $300, so for the price, you won’t have to go out there alone!
