Marvel’s mystery 2014 movie has been revealed! Guardians of the Galaxy has been revealed to have the same comedic/pseudo-serious tone as The Avengers, and will be released to theaters on May 16, 2014! The story will see the protagonists traveling back in time from the 31st Century to battle the evil alien race known as the Badoon, a race who seeks to conquer the Earth’s solar system. Other than the release date and general synopsis, not much else is known.
It can be said, though, that Marvel chose to do this movie over than Black Panther, so this will join Marvel’s future line-up of Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, The Inhumans, and The Avengers 2, all due by 2015.
Oh, and the screenwriter, Nicole Perlman, has already devised a first draft for the movie.
