Well, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been known for some pretty interesting DLC, especially from Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations! Now, it seems like Assassin’s Creed III will be getting DLC (it was always an inevitability), but it seems like it’ll be getting it in the form of episodic DLC, which will also be made available through a Season Pass.

Season Passes have been used for a wide variety of games, most notably FPS games in the form of new missions, weapons, and multiplayer maps. It’s usually cheaper just to buy the Season Pass for any DLC-enabled game you have, though if you like to pick and choose your favorites, individual packs would also be made available. Assassin’s Creed DLCs usually fit this type of profile, and though the DLC for Assassin’s Creed III has yet to be released (let’s hope for a Ben Franklin Assassin character!), you can expect quite a few missions, characters, weapons, and multiplayer maps soon after the game releases later this year!
