Could this be a herald of things to come? The PS Vita hasn’t exactly done great in any market, but Sony is hoping to change all of that. Japan will be getting a price cut on both the Wi-Fi and 3G models of the PS Vita starting February 28, 2013, putting both at 19,980 yen (which translates to about $200 USD). Also included will be a free 1-week trial of PS Plus, and a free download campaign of Torne TV until the end of March.

In addition to the announced price cut, it was announced that Soul Sacrifice will be getting a limited edition PS Vita bundle will be available for 24,980 yen instead of the original 29.980 yen price. No word yet on price reductions for other regions, or whether or not we will be seeing the same Soul Sacrifice PS Vita bundle.
