Game developer Puzzl has been fiddling around with various controller options for the upcoming Android-based Ouya console, and has made it so that various controller options work. Some of these controller types include the XBOX 360 and PS3’s Dualshock 3 controller, but other controllers, like the Wiimote, OnLive’s wireless controller, and the Apple bluetooth keyboard have been shown to work on Ouya as well.
Also announced were Ouya’s capabilities to stream various resolutions and file types, ranging from 720p to 1080p resolution, and avi and mp4 file formats. Stream options come in your choice of either ethernet or wi-fi, and though the files can be played directly from Ouya’s hard drives, USB-based memory capabilities are still in the works.
For those of you who are wondering, Puzzl is working on a multiplayer-based puzzle game called Yummy Circus, which will feature 12-player online play, with up to 4-player multiplayer on each console. You can expect Ouya’s to release this March at an MSRP of $99 USD.
