Remember The Conduit, one of the more highly anticipated titles that came out for the original Wii? Well, the series didn’t do all too well (it did well, but not well), but the game might see new light with its new HD-remastering for Tegra-based devices. What does this mean? Well, at the very least, The Conduit HD is coming to the upcoming NVIDIA Shield handheld console!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Conduit, the game is pretty much like a cross between Halo and Call of Duty; at its very core, it is an alien-based FPS, but somehow grounded on the Earth that we know and love (or hate, in some instances). Touch controls will be implemented, thus allowing you to play the game on Tegra-based Android devices, but if touch controls aren’t your thing, GameStop’s wireless bluetooth controller for tablets will be supported. Additionally, you’ll get to look forward to shooting 14 different enemies with a selection of 18 weapons.
The first two missions for The Conduit HD will be free to play, and you can either pay $4.99 USD for the remaining 7 missions, or pay $2.99 for levels 3-6, and the same price for levels 7-9. The website does claim that the game should be out Q1 2013, and seeing as we’re nearing March, the game should be out soon!
