The critics have been vocal about Microsoft’s policy on used games and daily online check-ins, and though it wouldn’t affect a wide variety of people, there are some that aren’t able to fill the pre-requisites to use the system. Sony was teetering on the edge of this side as well, with rumors accusing Sony of implementing new ways of restricting used games on the next generation PS4, but for anyone awaiting the official answer, prepare to rejoice! There will be no used game restrictions implemented for the PS4 console, and there won’t be any daily online check-ins that would otherwise prevent you from using the console to its fullest offline capabilities. Has Sony just won a victory over Microsoft, or is it still too early to tell?
