So, out of the two new upcoming consoles, the PS4 might seem like a pretty sweet deal; it’s 100 dollars cheaper than the XBOX One and has a wealth of features, both similar and different to the new XBOX. In any case, if you were planning on getting a PS4 early on, your chances might be slim, as GameStop has stopped accepting pre-orders for the standard version of the PS4. Why is this significant, you ask? Well, back when the PS4 was revealed, Sony gave permission to GameStop to open up pre-orders, promising an “unlimited supply” to meet demand.
In any case, those pre-order options are no longer available, but you can still technically pre-order the premium bundles, which costs just a little bit more, or you can opt for a Day One edition of the XBOX One since it’s no longer using that pesky 24-hour DRM rule.
