Warning: Potential spoilers
Ever since Pokemon was released for the Game Boy, there’s always been more legendary Pokemon than your standard one (depending on your version). For the Red/Blue/Yellow games, it was Mewtwo, Mew, and the three legendary birds. For Gold/Silver/Crystal, we got Ho-oh, Lugia, and the three legendary dogs. Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald gave us Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, with which they began a trend of releasing two cover legendaries before using a third main one that created a trifecta of cover-worthy legendary Pokemon. Of course, Black 2 and White 2 broke this traditional quite a bit, but it seems like we’re about to be right on track for an imminent Pokemon Z sometime in the future: introducing Zygarde!
As you can see from the picture above, Zygarde is a Ground/Dragon type that apparently monitors Earth-haters from its cave. It has this sluggish, tech wormy look, and it appears as a Level 70 Pokemon with the ability Aura Break and the moves Crunch, Earthquake, Camouflage, and Dragon Pulse. It’s Pokedex number is 718, so could this be how many Pokemon we’ll be able to see now?
